PRESENTED BY
ANDY GILBERT
Andy Gilbert is the founder and Managing Director of Go M.A.D. Thinking. He has a passion for challenging leaders to solve problems, manage change, and transform results. Andy brings over 25 years of experience in executive coaching and organisational change.
He dedicates a significant part of his time to designing programmes on leadership, change, and transformation in both public and private sectors. In 1998, Andy initiated a 14-month research project aiming to identify the essential elements of “making a difference.” The 4,000 hours of research uncovered a systematic thinking approach rather than a standard process, leading to the creation of the Go M.A.D.® Results Framework. This framework, grounded in seven key principles for success, now forms the basis of Go M.A.D. Thinking’s change and transformation methodologies.
Andy is an author of more than 20 books, including ‘Go M.A.D. – The Art of Making a Difference,’ ‘Go M.A.D. about Coaching,’ and ‘How to Save Time & Money Through Managing Organisational Change Effectively.’ He has also delivered over 200 video and audio programmes covering leadership, personal development, and organisational change.
As an executive coach and facilitator, Andy collaborates with boards across various sectors, drawing on his cognitive research, coaching models, and extensive experience working with leaders in hundreds of organisations around the globe.
Watch Andy’s 17-minute TED X Talk to discover more about the Go M.A.D. seven key principles.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT GO M.A.D. THINKING
“I genuinely think that the 7 principles of the Go M.A.D. Results Framework plus the Thinking Effectiveness model are some of the best strategic planning and leadership tools I have ever encountered. I will always be an advocate for Go M.A.D.!”
“We started an entire organisational redesign programme that everyone told us was impossible to do at the beginning, and in an organisation that is change averse, it was pretty nerve wracking. However, using the Go M.A.D. tools, we got to the end of it on budget in time, and the biggest feedback was, Is that it? We’re Done? Brilliant!”
“The real power of the Go M.A.D. Results Framework has been improving the quality of our thinking before we take action. By asking the right questions at the right time and involving others far more than we used to, we now bring far better quality to our thinking. This means we’re aiming before we fire – and as a result, we’re hitting the target much more effectively.”
“We felt Go M.A.D. was going to be a two-year programme where we were going to fundamentally shift the whole culture within our organisation. The results are fantastic. We’ve seen a significant shift in the levels of customer satisfaction and the feedback we are getting is fantastic. We’ve seen a fundamental shift in our employee satisfaction levels and we are also seeing a significant improvement in our shareholders’ returns. The results for us are what matters and we are absolutely seeing that in our company. I don’t have any hesitation in giving my commendation and recommendation that people use Go M.A.D. Thinking.”
“I’ve enjoyed and benefited from many leadership development, coaching and management courses from being a Sales Manager to a Managing Director. But after 15 years, I keep coming back to the Go M.A.D. Results Framework. It’s got the lot. The framework, the methodology and the toolbox to help individuals focus on getting the results they want.”
“The programmes have provoked people to think, ultimately helping us to drive growth plans. The change in mind set for some people has been quite radical and has even helped to improve people’s lives outside of work. This is the beauty of Go MAD; whilst it helps the business to deliver its objectives, the business also gives back something to its Employees with the tools and techniques learned.”
