This policy sets out how Go M.A.D. Ltd (trading as Go M.A.D. Thinking and ThinkOn), registered in England & Wales, (registered number 3302441) uses and protects information that you provide when using our website and mobile apps or engaging with our services. By using our website/mobile apps and/or providing us with any information about yourself, you are accepting the terms of this policy.

Our approach to Privacy

The privacy and security of personal data of our prospects, clients and employees is of utmost importance to us. As such, we employ privacy by design and by default in the way we design & deliver our activities, including business services, marketing, IT systems and overall operational practices.

How we collect personal data

Information you give us:

This includes information you give us by; filling in forms on our website, calling us, emailing us, registering on our website or mobile apps, purchasing from our online shop, giving us your details at an event, request a call back, use our products/services, making a complaint, reporting a problem or when you apply to work with us as a partner or an employee.

The information you give us may include; your name, postal address, billing address, email address, phone number, job title, organisation. Depending on the nature of your enquiry or the service we are providing to you, we may ask for more detailed information, such as the department or team you work in, challenges, issues or goals in your team/department or organisation.

Any coaching conversations that you have with a member of the team will be treated with the strictest of confidence and will not be recorded on any systems or databases.

Information we automatically collect about you:

This includes; IP address, the web browser type and version, the operating system you are using, a list of URL starting with a referring site, your activity on the website and/or mobile apps, the website you leave us to go to.

Information given to us by a Third Party

This includes information disclosed to us by an authorised Third Party (e.g. an employer) on behalf of the individual

The data that we collect from you may be used in the following ways:

Special categories of personal data

We do not ask for any special categories of data as part of our data processing activities on any of our sites. However, there may be occasions whereby this is disclosed to us (e.g. dietary requirements on a workshop) or biometric data is obtained through recording of online programmes. If you disclose such information to us, you are consenting to us processing that information for the purposes set out in the section:

Where do we store your personal data?

If you are based in the UK/EEA, it may be necessary on occasions to transfer your data outside of the UK/EEA.  

Where it is necessary to transfer your data to a third party outside of the EEA to provide the services we have been contracted to deliver, we will put measures in place to retain appropriate GDPR standards. This is to ensure that once the transfer of data is complete, your data is subject to security measures on par with those required by data protection legislation in the UK.

Data storage policy

As an organisation, Go M.A.D. Ltd has been operating for over 25 years and we continue to receive communications from clients up to 10 years after we have stopped working together. As such, Go M.A.D. Thinking feels it appropriate to hold data in a secure area for up to 10 years post contract. If there has been no engagement or interaction after that point, data will be made inactive.

Controlling your personal data

Any personal data that you give us or we collect from you as a result of your interaction with Go M.A.D. Ltd and our systems/services belongs to you. Under GDPR, you have the following rights which we will uphold:

  • The right to access the personal data we hold on you.
  • The right to have any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold on you rectified.
  • The right to ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances.

  • The right to object to us using your personal data for a particular purpose or purposes

Please note that before sending you any personal data, we will ask you to provide proof of your identity. If you are not able to provide proof of identity, we reserve the right to refuse to send you the personal data.

We intend to protect the quality and integrity of your personal information. Go M.A.D. Limited has implemented technologies and security policies to protect the stored personal data of our users from unauthorised access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction and accidental loss. Go M.A.D. Limited employees and processors who have access to personal data are obliged by contractual agreements to respect the privacy of our visitors and the confidentiality of their personal data.

Go M.A.D. Limited will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

We will only send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

  • We find that your actions on our website violate these instructions

We do not store customer credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.
